I always make sure that I make a note in my diary for Pushies Galore Bicycle Meet & Swap held in the leafy suburb of Holland Park, Brisbane at the wonderful  Bowls Club.  Now in its fourth year this year was the best yet, perfect weather and more people than ever.

We arrived a bit early  so we had to keep out of the main area until everyone was set up. This provided good opportunity to check out the ‘Shearers’ bikes on display inside . Used in a recent ride from Broken Hill to Bourke and to check out Andy Rogers photos of NCXS. It also gave us time enjoy a fine cup of tea and a jam slice while we waited for things to get rolling.

It was great to walk around and pick up the odd item from the swap meet, put faces to social media accounts, and speak to some frame builders one wouldn’t have the chance to in this corner of Aus. I very much regret not being able to make it to the pre-event with Greg Softley on Friday evening it looked amazing, but ‘those the breaks’.

Big thanks to Richard Butler and Gavin Bannerman, along with their team of helpers and enthusiasts for continuing to put on such a great event.

I’ll let my captioned photos above illustrate the rest of the day.
